An Introduction

Hi, my name is Ted. As you can see in my profile, I am a member of the United States armed forces. Given the nature of this blog, I will not say which branch.

For the last three years, I thought everything was going well in my unit. But I recently learned that some of the members of my platoon are "tense" when I'm in the shower with them. They are concerned that I might be gay.

I learned about this on The Rhetorical Situation, in the third comment in this thread.

Needless to say, this revelation came as a shock to me. I never thought of myself as gay before. But maybe I am. Maybe my platoon sees things I don't.

I have created this blog to scrutinize my sexuality and to learn whether or not these feelings of "tenseness" have merit.
